Tourist and Business Visa Requirements
China Visa Policy Change
The Embassy of China requires the China Visa Application to be typed. Hand written applications are no longer accepted. Vp2Go can assist with completing your application to the Embassy's specification. For further details, please read the notice from the Chinese Embassy here. IMPORTANT: BUSINESS LETTER AND INVITATION MUST BE ORIGINAL. NO COPIES.
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY
Please send the following:
1.Valid and signed U.S. Passport. Your passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity from expiration date.

Must also include a clear copy of Driver's License.
2.
IMPORTANT: To obtain a 1 year visa, your passport must be valid for at least another 18 months.
3. One (1)
visa application form. Application has four (4) pages. All questions answered and application signed. All applications must be typed up, printed, and signed.
4. One (1) passport quality photo. Must be 2" x 2" and in color (with no head covering).
5. Copy of your
airline ticket(or e-ticket) AND hotel confirmation.
OR
- Tourist visas require an invitation letter from an authorized Tourist unit, company, corporation, institution or individual living in China. Invitation letters should follow the business letter from host company in China template, including inviter information: name, phone number, address and if applicable, signature and seal. If the invitation letter is issued by an individual in China, a copy of their ID is required.
For business visas, including items 1 to 4, please include the following:
- a Visa Notification Form written in Chinese and issued by an authorized unit in China. Fax or scanned copy acceptable.
OR
- a business letter from host company in China, on the host company's letterhead, signed by an officer of the host company, stating the following information:
- Name, gender AND date of birth of traveler
- Exact dates of travel
- Contact name, address and phone number of the inviting individual/organization in China
- Purpose of business visit to China
- Financial guarantee of traveler's expenses to and from China
- MUST BE STAMPED OR HAVE THE SEAL OF THE HOST ORGANIZATION/COMPANY IN CHINA
AND
- an original business letter on your company's letterhead, signed by an officer of your company, stating the following information:
- Name AND gender of traveler
- Exact dates of travel
- Contact name, address and phone number of the inviting individual/organization in China
- Purpose of business visit to China
- Financial guarantee of traveler's expenses to and from China

- IMPORTANT: Foreign Passport Holders, please fill out supplemental form part D
- IMPORTANT: For 1 year multiple entry requests, the Embassy requires your passport to have 18 months left on validity.
- For stays longer than 30 days. Please include a letter addressed to the Embassy of PRC explaining your reasons for wanting to stay longer. Longer stays are granted at the discretion of the visa officer.
- Processing time does not include required time to ship your completed visa back to you.
- Non-U.S. passport holders must provide their original green card or long stay U.S. visa valid for at least 6 months
- Fees and processing times for non-U.S. passport holders may vary from the published fees above
- Please include a VP2Go order form to ensure proper handling of your visa request
